14.1 Included in the Group’s deposits is placement of fund of USD824,000 in a Sinking Fund Account. This
Sinking Fund Account is established with a financial institution and which shall be held by a subsidiary
during the tenure of a loan as security deposits.
Included in the Group’s deposits in last financial year was a sum of RM10,095,150 paid as deposit for
the chartering of marine vessels from a former associate company.
14.2 Included in the Group’s prepayments are the advance vessels hire payments of USD998,000 made
to a financial institution. The advance hire payments are netted off against the future gross hire
payable.
Included in the Group’s prepayments in last financial year was an amount paid for the mobilisation
of one unit of marine vessel amounting to RM5,000,000.
