Dayang Enterprise Holdings Bhd wishes to announce that as at 30th June 2008, the Company does not comply with the Public Shareholding Spread Requirement under Paragraph 8.15(1) of the Bursa Listing Requirements. The public shareholding spread of the Company as at 30th June 2008 was 24.0% held in the hands of 3118 public shareholders holding not less than 100 shares each.
Pursuant to the above, the Company is making an application to seek the approval of Bursa Malaysia for an extension of time of 6 months to comply with the percentage of public shareholding spread.
The Company has not formulated any formal rectification plans, however, it will endeavour to take the necessary actions to comply with the public shareholding spread in due course.
