Dayang Enterprise Holdings Bhd ('Dayang') is pleased to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary, Dayang Enterprise Sdn Bhd ('DESB') has on 5 April 2010 received an award of contract from Sarawak Shell Berhad for the Provision of Topside Maintenance Execution Services for SSB/SSPC Facilities. The total contract value is estimated at approximately RM400 million.
The duration of the contract is for an initial period of five (5) years followed with an option to renew for one (1) year.
The above contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings of the group for the financial years 2010 to 2015. There is no significant risks involved in fulfilling the contract obligations.
None of the Directors and/or substantial shareholders of the Company or persons connected to the Directors and/or major shareholders have any direct or indirect interest in the contract.
