Dayang Enterprise Holdings Bhd ("Dayang" or "The Company") refers to the article entitled " Dayang may buy into Perdana Petroleum" that appeared at page 16 of The Edge Malaysia on Monday 3 October, 2011.

Dayang wishes to clarify that the Company has always been exploring various avenues to enhance its business which include discussions between the Company and Perdana Petroleum Berhad (PP) with a view to explore potential collaboration between the companies .These exploratory talks are consistent with the Company's ongoing effort to look for opportunities to invest in businesses which are strategic or synergistic to the Company's business activities. The potential investments being explored may result in our Company acquiring a strategic stake in PP.

However, the Company wishes to categorically state there is no agreement reached yet between the parties. The Company is carefully considering all aspects of potential collaboration or investments before making any decision. In the event an agreement is reached the Company will make the necessary disclosure to the relevant authorities and the investing public through a public announcement.
